- To promote
the enforcement and observance of fish, game, wildlife and to enforce
laws and regulations affecting fish, game and wildlife.
- To elevate
the standards of sportsmanship.
- To cultivate
understanding and foster more friendly relations between ranchers, landowners,
stockmen and sportsmen.
- To promote
the conservation of fish, game, and habitat. To restore fish, game and
forests wherever possible.
- To promote
good fellowship, not only among the sportsmen of California, but also
with those of other states.
- To cooperate
with other sportsmen and organizations of sportsmen -- incorporated
or unincorporated, of California and other states and with national
organizations having similar purposes.
- To secure
equal rights for all sportsmen, regardless of wealth, influence, social
standing, special privileges, or commercial interests, and to insure
the average sportsman of equal opportunity with those in more fortunate
circumstances.
- To educate
the public, generally as to the advantages of preserving our wildlife
and natural resources, and assist with pollution problems in compliance
with state water quality requirements.
- To unite
in a statewide organization all those citizens of California having
ideals in harmony with these purposes.
